Even though the underdog lost the game, they are still able to win the bet thanks to the line if they lose by less than eight points.

When looking at spreads, you may notice another number listed in parentheses. This shows the odds. If the odds pay out is listed as (-105), you have to bet $105 to win $100 along with your original amount. Sometimes an over/under number is shown. This is an additional side bet predicting the total points scored by both teams. Suppose the over/under is 205 and the Mavericks win 105-102. Total score is 207 and anyone selecting the over would win.

Razz is a style of stud poker that is normally played for ace-to-five low (lowball poker).
