Baccarat Strategy

The two words next to each other is a bit of a contradiction. If you are looking for a baccarat strategy that will turn you into a money-winning monster, you are definitely in the wrong place…

…but then you won’t get to a better place for a baccarat strategy either. The reason for my pessimism is that baccarat is definitely 100% purely a game of chance. If you play it for long enough you would clearly see this as well.

I can however offer you some tips to improve your odds at the baccarat tables. It would not turn them in your favour, but it will cut the odds of the house.

At many casinos they offer players a pen and paper if they would like to “track the hands” to see if there is any pattern. No there isn’t. I don’t believe there are many casinos left out there who don’t shuffle the decks every few hands or use multiple decks at least. This makes it near impossible… no it does make it impossible to spot a pattern.

Right of the bat the stupidest bet to place is the Tie bet. It offers a much larger payout than the other two, but the odds of hitting it… well let’s just say it is not so good.

Technically however the best bet to place is on the banker. The house has an edge… always. Your odds are better when betting on the banker, even with the 5% of commission paid (well that is the average).

Sorry if I disappointed you with my baccarat strategy, but I felt honesty would hurt less.
