Roulette Wheel

The roulette wheel is one of the best known parts of any casino. It sets roulette apart from all of the other table games.

Where many of the other table games work with a deck of cards, or in the case of craps with dice, the roulette wheel stands out.

In a game of roulette, whenever the roulette wheel is spun an air of anticipation is felt around the roulette table. As the ball bounces in and out of those possible winning numbers the excitement keeps growing… and then….

WE HAVE A WINNER!

The roulette wheel spin on an axis and a small solid ball is spin around the outside of the wheel. As it slows down, gravity starts pulling it to the center of the wheel and it bounces against the ridges between the numbers of the wheel. As the wheel slows and the ball bounces lower and lower until it settles between two of the ridges on one of the numbers.
